With stunning foliage and fragrant, star like flowers, Deutzia Nikko has it all! You won't be disappointed with its compact, mounding habit and flowers cascading from every angle. Butterflies won't be able to resist the attractive blooms and foliage, but deer will usually leave it alone.
The creamy white flowers emerge in late spring, and resemble tiny stars all over this little shrub, and remain beautiful until late summer. The clump of yellow antlers in the center pop against the stark white petals. The flowers are held on gently arching branches, dripping from every branch like little bells dancing in the wind.
The little flowers are complimented with the beautifully foliage, adding texture and dimension to any bed or border. You'll also love the effect when the blooms are cascading down a low wall. Low maintenance and easy to grow, give Deutzia Nikko plenty of sun and moist, well drained soil and it will thrive. If you want to manipulate the shape, give it a nice pruning in the spring after flowering.
