Description / Eucomis 'African Night'
This flower slightly resembles a hyacinth. With a spiky flower head and small unique flowers climbing up a long stem, it is often referred to as the "Pineapple Lily". These vivid pink flowers burst in late summer and have burgundy stems. They will bloom from late summer into early fall. This flower has a unique tropical look and has gorgeous green full foliage as well. This bold flower does best in full sun and grows easily in a beds and borders or in baskets and containers for show stopping color on your porch or inside. These upright blooms also are beautiful cut and arranged in a vase for some colorful vertical interest.
