Gaillardia Realflor® 'Sunset Orange Ruffles' is a compact perennial that grows to a mature size of approximately 14 inches tall and wide and blooms from early spring through fall. A highly floriferous, large- and double-flowered variety, 'Sunset Orange Ruffles' sets unique, double-echinacea-style flowers. Their warm sun-kissed colorsorange, coral, and yellowdo not fade over the exceptionally long life of the flower. Borne on very strong stems, the fringy flowers rise above a tidy mound of lance-shaped grey-green foliage. They make cute cut flowers for bouquets all summer long. Left in the garden, the flowers attract pollinators, including bees and butterflies, while in bloom and sustain songbirds after fading.
Gaillardia x grandiflora, commonly called blanket flower, 'Sunset Orange Ruffles' has a clumping habit that's ideal for containers or garden beds and borders. Blanket flower is perfect for a pollinator garden or a cottage garden.
