Description

Although this plant is native to South Africa, Delosperma Jewel of Desert Garnet is amazingly hardy in North America. Give it full sun and well-drained soil and it will be the true jewel of your garden. The plethora of green leaves will bear gorgeous daisy-like flowers, in beautiful shades of pink with a yellow center.

Delosperma Jewel of Desert Garnet is wonderfully hardy and should bloom longer than the typical ice plant. It is a great choice for a hot and dry area—perfect for the rock garden or as a border. These blooms are not only known for their beautiful color, but the intensity of that color—it's almost neon.
