Description
Although Skyline® Barcelona® does not flower, its golden gradient foliage—dark green base to bright yellow tips—and uniform plant structure of densely packed, upright stems make it a particularly appealing addition to a garden, patio container, or border edging. And its vibrant spikes make good greens in a cut or everlasting bouquet.
Plant this heather in moist, well-drained, acidic soil. Fertilize when planting, water regularly, prune in early spring, and that's it—no further maintenance needed.
This small evergreen shrub works well as a ground cover in areas of erosion, and it's great planted in a patio container or a rock garden. It's deer resistant, and once its roots are established, it's drought resistant, too.
