Brilliant Plum Foliage for All Seasons

Lures butterflies and hummingbirds but spurns deer!

If flowers are the only sources of color in your garden you're denying yourself the wonders of foliage interest like this spectacular heuchera. Wild Rose makes you sit up and take notice with its large, ruby purple leaves that feature smoky gray veins for added contrast. While this dramatic shade lover look perfect in all seasons, its beauty and color is especially stunning in the starkness of winter. To accompany its striking foliage display in midsummer this attractive native plant sends up slender wands of rosy flowers which are soon crowed by butterflies and hummingbirds alike although the deer will generally leave it alone. Wild Rose is a compact and hardy plant that is salt tolerant, deer resistant and low maintenance overall. Add to borders and planters and watch as it fills your landscape with its unique brand of magic.

Beautiful Plant!

This shopper rated the product 5 out of 5 stars

Plant came with a good root and leaf structure. I purchased two and planted in a garden pot on a covered porch - one is heavily shaded and the other receives some sunshine. They are both growing nicely and have increased in size. The color is more of a deep burgundy than the purple... but that may change as the plant grows and receives/doesn't receive sunshine. Overall... love this plant!
