Description / Hydrangea Incrediball® Smooth Hydrangea

Proven Winners® ColorChoice® Flowering Shrubs proudly presents the Incrediball Smooth Hydrangea, a standout variety that brings unparalleled elegance to your garden with its enormous, vibrant blooms. Boasting a remarkable improvement in stem strength, the Incrediball Hydrangea arborescens 'Abetwo' ensures that its stunning flower clusters, spanning over a foot in diameter, remain upright and majestic throughout the season. These sturdy stems that don't flop are a testament to the innovative breeding program aimed at enhancing the resilience of hydrangeas, allowing you to enjoy the visual feast without the worry of drooping flowers.

Originating from the lineage of the Annabelle Hydrangea, the Incrediball Smooth Hydrangea's blooms undergo a captivating transformation from a delicate jade green to a rich cream, culminating in a pure white spectacle. These large flowers emerge on new wood, ensuring a display from early spring through fall, perfect for creating both fresh and dried floral arrangements that capture the essence of the season.

Adapted to thrive in partial shade, this native North American shrub reaches an impressive size of 4-5 feet tall and wide, making it a striking addition to any landscape. The Incrediball Hydrangea requires minimal care, flourishing with just regular moisture and well-drained soil, and its indigenous roots mean it's perfectly attuned to local climates and soil conditions. This not only ensures a lush, vibrant display without the need for fertilizers or excessive watering but also supports local ecosystems by providing a haven for wildlife.

By incorporating the Incrediball Smooth Hydrangea into your garden, you're choosing a plant that's as environmentally friendly as it is breathtaking. Its strong, sturdy stems and large, radiant flowers make it a prime choice for gardeners looking to blend aesthetic appeal with ecological benefits. Whether you're a fan of the Annabelle Hydrangea or looking to add a touch of early spring majesty to your garden with large flowers on upright stems, the Incrediball Hydrangea is an unparalleled choice.

Huge plant
Review by Fiddlestix
This took off like a rocket ship in it's second year and is a gigantic shrub with large blooms. We will actually have to move it this fall. Sturdy stems but I had no idea it would be this large. "Incredi-ball" for sure..

Looks Good!
Review by NCJC
I purchased this hydrangea 18 months ago and planted in the Fall. I planted next to my front door. It gets West- Northwest sun exposure. The first year it did not bloom. It bloom this Summer. It has 8 nice sized blooms, though none are basketball sized. The lime green to white coloring is very pretty. The plant is at least 4 feet tall. We recently had a heavy rain storm with high winds and the stem did droop, but none broke. The stems recovered in 24 hours. I am keeping an eye out to see how long the flowers last. I would recommend this plant.
