Description / Aruncus 'Misty Lace'

If you're tired of the same old thing in your shaded garden, this Goatsbeard is the touch of whimsy your landscape has been waiting for. The long, fluffy white bloom wands dangle on deep red stems which rise above fetching dark green, fern-like foliage. 'Misty Lace' is the child of Aruncus dioicus and Aruncus aethusifolius and combines the charms of both. This compact perennial performs best in moist, fertile soil and does well in full sun as well as partial shade. As a bonus, this hybrid is notably much better suited to hot, humid Southern climates than other varieties. Plant it in the shady corners of your garden for some needed visual interest.
