A Bloomin' Easy® variety, Buddleia Blueberry Pie™ is a flowering deciduous shrub offering 3 seasons of interest, blooming and reblooming throughout summer. Borne on long, willowy stems, the large flower spikes, dense with purple-blue blooms, have a natural meadow look. The nectar-rich flowers are sweetly fragrant and extremely pollinator friendly, attracting tons of bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds.

A Buddleia hybrid, commonly called butterfly bush, Blueberry Pie is a colorful shrub with a compact, mounding habit and vigorous growth. If allowed, butterfly bush will self-seed, so consider placement carefully. It is a perfect specimen, container, or mixed bed plant but is shown to best effect massed or grouped.

An easy-grow, easy-care shrub, butterfly bush grows best in sunny locations with average, medium moist, well-draining soil. The plant is heat tolerant, deer resistant, and pet friendly. Deadheading regularly encourages and prolongs flowering and discourages any unwanted self-seeding.
