Description / Caryopteris Beekeeper™

A Bloomin' Easy® variety, Caryopteris Beekeeper™ was bred with busy young homeowners and their modern-sized outdoor spaces in mind, Caryopteris Beekeeper™ has a diminutive, well-kept form, fitting into small spaces nicely, and easy-care attitude, requiring little maintenance. In fact, this perennial shrub requires just three steps: plant, water, relax—success.

And this newly improved variety of Caryopteris is even more beautiful, its cornflower blue clusters resting against vibrant chartreuse, with a pop of gold, foliage. The plant is attractive even before it blooms. Leaves turn slightly greener in summer and stay healthy looking, neither burning nor spotting.

You know with a name like Beekeeper, this bluebeard is bee haunted, but Caryopteris Beekeeper™ actually calls to all pollinators.

Uses: Specimen, Mass Planting, Borders, Pollinator Gardens, Mixed Beds

One of my bushes arrived looking great and was flowering. It still looks great. The other looked sickly, had no flowers and still appears to be struggling. I’m giving it lots of tender loving care, so hopefully it makes it.
