Description

A Proven Winners® ColorChoice® Flowering Shrubs variety, Chaenomeles Double Take Eternal White™ Quince is a deciduous shrub that begins blooming mid-spring to early summer and continues for months, often into early autumn. Hopelessly romantic, the large, camellia-like double blooms open lime green and mature to pure white. The fragrant flowers attract pollinators, including bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds, and make lovely cuts for floral displays.

Double Take Eternal White quince is a thornless variety and does not set fruit. It has an upright, low, and wide growing habit, making it a versatile landscape plant. It makes an excellent specimen but is shown to best effect when massed or grouped in beds, borders, or hedges.

Easy care, quince grows best in sunny to partly sunny locations with average, medium moist, well-draining loam but adapts to a wide range of soils, including clay. Double Take Eternal White quince is drought and heat tolerant and deer resistant.
