Description / Forsythia Magical® Gold

Just like the first glimmer of light that signals the coming sunrise, the bright golden blooms of Forsythia Magical® Gold are the cheerful harbingers of spring.

Forsythia Magical® Gold is a medium sized shrub with showy, iconic flowers that banish winter and welcome the new season with a gleeful shout of golden color that refuses to be ignored. The flowers grow directly on the stems and make for vibrant, bold additions to cut arrangements. Forsythia Magical® Gold also shines brightly in an outdoor bed with its sunshine colored blooms. This robust beauty resists deer and tolerates poor clay soil and even drought conditions once fully established. Forsythia Magical® Gold even grows in the usually unfriendly soil near Black Walnut trees. Forsythia Magical® Gold is easy to take care of and sure to provide joy through the spring season. Prune regularly to keep the shrub looking tidy.

Review by Sandra Gilbert
This is the first year since forever that forsythias have bloomed due to the strange weather we have been having. They were beautiful in other peoples yards, so I order one! Too late for this year to bloom, but anxiously wait for next year!
