This early-season, floriferous Lenten rose brings in spring with large single flowers, up to 3 inches, shaded pale yellow and peach with a dark burgundy center and a rosy reversea unique color for the genus. Borne on sturdy stems of dark evergreen foliage, the elegant flowers make sophisticated bouquets.
Drought and salt tolerant, this perennial is easy to grow, vigorous, and showy, especially when planted in large groups. It can be grown as a border or in a container, but it's perfect for naturalizing in areas where it can be allowed to slowly spread. And it makes bees very happy.
