Description / Punica Crimson Sky™ Pomegranate

A compact pomegranate shrub with an unusually long and lovely season of blooms. Punica Crimson Sky™ Pomegranate comes to us from Ukraine and is predictably cold-hardy. The large red blooms begin in early summer and continue for months, while the orange-red fruit ripens in late autumn and is heavily borne.

Just 5 to 6 feet high and 4 to 5 feet wide, Punica Crimson Sky™ Pomegranate offers glossy green foliage right down to the ground. You can grow it in a container—and because it's self-fertile, you don't need a second shrub for cross pollination. Low maintenance, beautiful, and delicious, Punica Crimson Sky™ Pomegranate should be at the top of your list for "must haves" this season.

Review by Paula
I received my Punica Crimson Sky in the mail. After traveling across the country and arriving on a 90 degree day out of the back of a searing UPS truck, we opened the box to a hot release of air. This beautiful little plant was fresh and bright, if not a little thirsty. OMG I just wanted to say, that unpacking my tree... it was as if I'd gone to the nursery and picked it out myself. Beautiful! Thank you SO much!
