A Proven Winners® ColorChoice® Flowering Shrubs variety, Rosa Oso Easy Red Stripe™ Landscape Rose is a deciduous shrub that grows to a mature size of about 3 to 4½ feet tall and wide. It flowers prolifically and continuously all summer, setting clusters of frilly flowers, with each bloom having its own unique pattern of red, pink, and white stripes and swirls. Just one snipped cluster makes a cute summer bouquet.
A Rosa hybrid, commonly called a landscape rose, Rosa Oso Easy Red Stripe has an upright habit and excellent vigor. This landscape rose is a nice size for growing as a specimen in a container or a small-space garden bed or border. But it's shown to best effect when mass planted and is especially nice for foundation plantings.
This healthy landscape rose has superior disease resistance and cold hardiness (to Zone 4). It thrives in sunny garden spots with moist, freely draining soils having an acidic pH, but it performs well in most soils and requires no deadheading of faded blooms to continue flowering throughout summer.
