Description / Rose Vanessa Bell™

This delicate yellow rose is already a gardener favorite soon after its release. The petals are a soft yellow set off by a darker golden eye and almost white outer petals that almost produce a glowing effect. The moderate fragrance has been described as green tea with a hint of lemon and honey.

Pale yellow roses are rare, so this beauty is sure to sell quickly. This rose remains compact and tidy throughout its growth and into maturity. It is perfect for using in a border, a small garden, as a large hedge, or even in a large pot.

Vanessa Bell™ blooms consistently from early summer until frost. The David Austin team considers it one of their most free-flowering varieties. It was named for English artist Vanessa Bell (1879-1961), a founding member in 1905 of the Bloomsbury Group, along with her sister, writer Virginia Wolfe.
