Description / Sedum 'Fulda Glow'
Commonly grown as an evergreen groundcover, Sedum 'Fulda Glow' is a herbaceous perennial that forms a low, dense, mosslike mat of bronze-red foliage that maintains its color through the growing season and turns vibrant red in fall. In late summer, rose-red flowers rise above the succulent foliage on short stalks and bring in the butterflies and bees.
Robust and extremely drought tolerant, Sedum 'Fulda Glow' grows well in poor soils with low moisture. It is right at home sprawling over rocks and tucking into stone crevices in sunny, dry locations but also fits nicely in a decorative container, in the front of a border, or in a mixed bed with companion plants, such as coreopsis (tickseed), festuca (fescue), helictotrichon (blue oat grass), iberis (candytuft), pennisetum (fountain grass). It is salt tolerant and deer and rabbit resistant.
