Description / Sunshine Daydream Grandiflora Rose
All-America Rose Selections (AARS) Winner 2012; Biltmore International Rose Trials; Portland Rose Society Gold Award; Rose Hills Memorial Park International Rose Trials
The first rose to win All-America Rose honors with no-spray cultivation, Sunshine Daydream™ is a stunning grandiflora rose with superb disease resistance that keeps the glossy dark green foliage healthy throughout the growing season. It performs very well all over the country and is almost always in bloom, from late spring through fall. Each long, flowering stem bears up to eight 3- to 4-inch cuppy buttery yellow double blooms with 25 petals that mature to a rich shade of cream over time. The blooms appear singly or in small clusters and make gorgeous cut flowers for bouquets or mixed floral arrangements.
Sunshine Daydream is a tall bush with an upright habit, reaching about 5 feet tall and 4 feet wide. It makes a great specimen or accent in garden beds and borders, but it's stunning when massed or grouped in the landscape and makes a lovely flowering hedge. Sunshine Daydream comes from the Meidiland® rose program in France.
