Hardy, easy to grow, and sweetly fragrant!
Muscari, or grape hyacinths, are winter-hardy bulbs that naturalize beautifully, filling the spring garden with rich shades of blue, white, and purple for weeks on end. Ranging in size from 4 to 12 inches tall, pest- and disease-resistant Muscari work wonderfully as cut flowers or planted in rock gardens, beds, borders, under shrubs and trees, or forced indoors. The sweet fragrance and spikes of blooms that resemble bunches of grapes make them equally beautiful in garden or vase. For a dramatic, contrasting display, pair Muscari with tulips and daffodils.
