Description
Meet the Sombrero™ series of cold-hardy, long-blooming Coneflowers. Baja Burgundy is an ultra-compact Echinacea that grows as easily in containers as it does in the sunny border.
This selection of the native American perennial is heavy-blooming and easy to grow, with natural resistance to pests and diseases. Butterflies visit frequently, and in autumn songbirds come to feast on the dried seeds in the large central cone on each flower. These daisies are bright in shades of deep pink, burgundy, and magenta, great for cutting or outdoor enjoyment. And Baja Burgundy fits right onto the patio or balcony.
Expect Baja Burgundy to reach just 2 feet tall and not quite as wide. It is long-lived and very productive, setting new buds as soon as you cut the older blooms. Enjoy beautiful color in the sun with this marvelous Coneflower.
